Awards Online and candidate transfers

With the launch of Awards Online you’ve been able to transfer candidates to your centre even if their original registration took place at another centre.  You asked us to make changes to the system so that when a candidate transfers from your centre to another, you are still able to record units the candidate achieved prior to the transfer.  After consultation with Ofqual, Awards Online will soon be updated to provide;

• A message to you when a candidate has been transferred to another centre
• A 15 day period immediately following the transfer message for you to record any units the candidate has previously achieved with you
• A certificate of unit credit, if you request one, sent to you for the units you have claimed
• A full certificate, which will be issued to the centre the candidate is registered with at the point the full claim is made

These changes have been made directly as a result of your feedback and are expected to go-live by 6th July.  To ensure Awards Online continues to meet your needs please continue to provide your feedback to your customer co-ordinator.
