Regional Forum

The Regional Forum events are an excellent opportunity for us to meet you face to face and to listen to your feedback on our products and services and the Spring Forums offer you a first look at the Cskills Awards Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) processes, publications and procedures. We will also share with you our plans for continuous improvement and update you on any developments. This event is free to attend and lunch will be provided.

Awareness Seminar

If you are a new assessor or internal verifier the Awareness Seminar explains everything you need to get you started. This half day event looks at the assessor and internal verifier roles, the competence based qualification structure and candidate requirements. This is a half day event, and costs £105 per delegate (£94.50 for ACAV members).

EWPA Professional Discussion Workshop

The professional discussion is a fundamental part of a candidate qualifying for a competence based qualification. This EWPA Professional Discussion Workshop is a mandatory briefing which must be attended within the first six months of your centre’s approval and gives guidance on how to ensure professional discussions are effective for both the assessor and the candidate. This is a one day event, and costs £140 per delegate (£126 for ACAV members).

Good Practice for Assessment in Construction Workshop

Standardisation in Construction Assessment Workshop

This event will focus on the purpose of standardisation and consistency. All assessors are required by the regulatory authority to standardise their assessment practice, and this event will provide you with ideas to put into practice when you return to your workplace. Quality Assurance in Construction Workshop

The Quality Assurance in Construction Workshop is ideal for internal verifiers who want to develop robust IV strategies and consider the quality assurance procedures that need to be implemented to meet the current regulatory requirements.  This is a one day event, and costs £140 per delegate (£126 for ACAV members).

Introduction to Skillsfile Seminar (assessor and verifiers)

The Introduction to Skillsfile Seminar has been designed for assessors and internal verifiers, and will provide you with all the information you need to get you started using Skillsfile including the assessment and verification process, uploading evidence, the automatic internal verification sampling engine and management of your candidates. This is a half day event, and costs £105 per delegate (£94.50 for ACAV members).

Introduction to Skillsfile Seminar (managing Skillsfile)

Skillsfile is the new candidate management and e‑portfolio system from Cskills Awards. This seminar provides managers and administrators with a complete overview of the system, including setting up a centre, managing assessors, internal verifiers and candidates, reporting capabilities and the interface with Awards Online. This is a half day event, and costs £105 per delegate (£94.50 for ACAV members).
