ACAV Conference 2010

The 2010 Association of Construction Assessors and Verifiers (ACAV) Conference is being held on 10 June 2010 at The Birches conference centre in East Anglia.  This is an event designed specifically for assessors and verifiers working in the construction industry. It demonstrates ACAV’s commitment to continually support its members by keeping them up to date with their knowledge and skills.

Conference details

Guest speakers on the day will include:

• John Skipworth - Recognition and Accreditation Adviser, Ofqual
• Chris Simpson - Quality Assurance Manager, Cskills Awards
• Nick Gooderson - Head of Education, Research and Development, ConstructionSkills
• Sally Garbett - Acting Policy Advisor, Lifelong Learning UK.

Topics being covered during the day will range from implementing the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), health and safety in construction, funding updates and new assessor, verifier and trainer qualifications, followed by a question and answer surgery where you will get the chance to ask questions to any of the day’s guest speakers.

Local accommodation is available and there are limited rooms available at the conference centre.
